The dense forests of Kab-hegy are home to a rich variety of wildlife. Visitors may often encounter roe deer, red deer, wild boar, and foxes. The birdlife is particularly diverse as well: various species of woodpeckers, owls, buzzards, and other forest birds inhabit the area. The untouched forests also provide a suitable habitat for numerous small mammals, reptiles, and insect species.
